Martin Luther King Jr. is the most influential Civil Rights Movement leader ever. There were some other leaders who participated in the events during the Civil Rights Movement, but Martin Luther King Jr is the most famous leader. Other leaders including Edgar Nixon and Roy Wilkins. Nixon was involved in the boycott that King administered and Wilkins was provided his leadership in the NAACP.

Other Civil rights leaders include Myles Horton, Marvel Cooke, Dorothy Height, Jo Ann Robinson and Frankie Muse Freeman. All of these people supported Martin Luther King Jr. and became a part of his nonviolent actions during the Civil Rights Movement. There were many others including Martin Luther King Jr.’s wife who was Coretta Scott King who died in 2006.
