A lot of people are aware that Thanos is one of the strongest characters in the Marvel series. But then, here comes Captain Marvel who is said to be the strongest character of all time. The reason why Captain Marvel is going to be stronger is she has all of the superpowers of all the Marvel superheroes combined.
Just imagine having all of the powers that can possibly be received. It will be enough to make the characters the strongest one out of all the rest. What Thanos can do, Captain Marvel will be able to do better. The fact that Captain Marvel has the ability to fly will also be an advantage.
