There are a lot of characters that you have to be familiar with in Captain Marvel but there are still not enough clues to show who the main villain will be. According to the trailer, the main villain might actually be Mar-Vell himself, the old Captain Marvel. His reasons for being the villain is not tackled nor confirmed yet but people are speculating that this may be the case.
This makes it more exciting to view the movie when it is already available for showing in the year 2019. It will allow people to feel anticipation towards what will happen next. It will help to get to know the other characters that will be included.
