There are apparently over a million millionaires. After all, many lottery winners are instead millionaires. The US has the most followed by Japan, then China and Germany. These four countries have over 60% of the world's wealth.
To be a millionaire you have to own assets of that amount or near excluding your home and consumables.It's rather surprising to find Spain in fourteenth position because its economy has been problematic. Obviously it's solving is elf!

The United States of America has the most millionaires with around 15.7 million. Almost 350,000 of them live in New York State and I’m guessing these wealthy men and women mostly live in New York City. Los Angeles and Chicago also have a large number of millionaires. All three of these cities have big populations and profitable industries, such as the movie industry, banking and investment firms and construction companies.
In case you were wondering what qualifies you to be a millionaire you must have “investable assets of $1 million or more, excluding the value of real estate, employer-sponsored retirement plans and business partnerships.”
