India and Pakistan are two countries formed due to the splitting of Hindoostan in 1947. The geography of the two countries is one of the differences between them; the greater part of this subcontinent belongs to India. India shares a border with Pakistan in the Rajasthani desert. Although Pakistan once shared a border with India on both its west and east sides, it has ceded its eastern territory to another country. To confirm the difference in the geographical area covered by the two countries, Pakistan has a total landmass area of 340,403 square miles, while India has a total landmass area of 1,269,221 square miles. In terms of population, India is the second-most populous country in the world, with approximately 2.1 billion people. India also has a population of 120 million people who are Muslims. On the contrary, the population of Pakistan is 169 million. This means that even though Pakistan is a Muslim country, it still has a similar size to the population of Muslims in India.

In case you did not know, India and Pakistan were one country before, with the name "Hindustan." Hindustan was being colonized by the British until they got independence in the year 1947, which called for them to separate. In terms of size, India is way larger than Pakistan.

It has a landmass of about 1,269,221 miles. India actually has Pakistan on its west and Bangladesh on its east. Pakistan is located between India and Afghanistan, and it has a landmass of about 340,403 landmasses. India is known as one of the largest and most populated countries in the world. It has a population of about 1.2 billion people, and of which about 120 of them are Muslims.

Pakistan, on the other hand, has a population of about 169 million people. Almost every citizen of Pakistan practices the Islamic religion, while India is ranked as the country with the third-highest number of Islamic populace.

India and Pakistan are two countries in the world. There are numerous differences between them. One of the key differences between them is the quality of life for those that live in these countries. Between the two, India has more poverty than Pakistan.

Millions in India only earn little than a dollar a day and live way below the poverty line. Though Pakistan also has a poverty issue, it is not a bad as Pakistan's.

This goes hand in hand with the next difference in regards to the health of the people in each country. As Pakistan has more resources provided through their government, the people there have better health conditions.
