It’s hard to believe that bill gates is no longer the ceo of Microsoft because his name is synonymous with Microsoft. He built Microsoft with a few other friends while he was in college and this is a true story of creating a company in a college dorm room with a couple of friends and then this company just taking off and becoming $1,000,000,000 company. I doubt bill gates really wanted to resign from Microsoft because this was his pride and joy.
He built it from the ground up and when people do that they rarely resign because this is their whole life. I’m sure that Bill Gates was coerced or persuaded in some former fashion to give up his position at this company.
