In the early days 60 minutes was perhaps the pinnacle of journalism. This is what made it one of the most popular shows on the television that everyone could watch. However, it has gone far from what we can call respectable journalism anymore. Many people still claim it to be quite reasonable, however, most people do not prefer it.
Now, it is all about presenting one side of the story and about celebrities promoting their movies, rather than having a constructive discussion. This had kind of, marked the end of the respectable journalism of ’60 minutes’ which started out as great!
