Constipation and diarrhea occur in everyone at least one point in their lives. Usually, these ailments take place more than once. However, people have to endure constipation and diarrhea as common occurrences after they take medication because it is a side effect of the medication or it may occur if the person is sick. Some women get constipation or diarrhea as a result of their monthly period.

However, if a person is getting constipation or diarrhea when they shouldn’t or they are getting it for an extended period of time, then they should be concerned and go to their doctor. Constipation and diarrhea can be painful and cause people to have to skip work or school and stay at home.
