According to the reports of those who were in a coma, they can hear voices even they are unconscious and unresponsive. Some feel that they struggle to open their eyes. They really try to get ahold of their body back. The longer that it takes for a person to go back to its wakeful stage, the harder it will be for the brain to recover.

There are some people who are in a coma who say that they have dreamed while they were in that state, but there are also others who say that they have never dreamed at all. The reason for dreams may entirely depend on the reason why people are in a coma in the first place.

Have you ever imagined that what does it really like to be in a coma? Some of you may think that being in a coma is like being dead. That means you can’t feel anything, your senses don’t work properly.

There are much more exciting things about coma which you should know before reaching any conclusion.

After many studies and surveys, neurologists have concluded that “Coma is like a deep sleep where someone in a coma will be unable to respond to light, voice, verbal communication”. They are incapable of initiating any action. After conducting a survey with the patients who recovered from this trauma, neurologists found that these people can’t remember much of what happened during the time interval when they were in a coma. Their memories were totally foggy.

However, they were able to recall dreams of their families surrounding with them with love and support. And let me tell you one thing that waking up from a coma is somehow exactly like waking up from dreams where you don’t remember what happened in your surroundings. And at the end of the day, you are left with vague memories of the things you have dreamt.

Comas are when a patient is unconscious and they don’t wake up. Most of the time they will not do anything to wake up. Sometimes, people are given medicine and put into a coma on purpose. However, some people fall into a coma. At this point, the patient is in danger.Even though the comatose patient may seem lifeless and unresponsive, they may become restless because of the pain that they feel.

They may also have seizures. The comatose people would feel their pain and seizures. People in comas can last a few days or even years in this state. It mainly depends upon the situation that put the person in the coma. During the coma, the person is still alive and will still have vital signs like heartbeat and breathing.
