If you are looking for a healthier alternitve to frying bacon you may consider baking it instead. For baking bacon you will need to preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a pan or cookie sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the bacon to lay out flat in a single layer. When the oven has preheated and it is ready to put the bacon in put the bacon on the bottom rack.
You do not have to flip the bacon and it will be ready in only 15 to 20 minutes. Once it is done, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with a paper towel. This will soak up any grease. This is the healthiest way to make bacon.
