Depending on what you plan to do while in Croatia, you might or might not be spending as much on food as you do in the United States. A decent meal at a sitdown restaurant in Croatia will cost around $25, but that same kind of meal can cost $35 for two people in America.

You’ll pay about $3 for a pound of ground beef in America, and about $4 for the same pound of meat in Croatia. The price differences continue up to small bottles of water and soda - the smaller kind. It’ll cost about $1 for water, and $1.50 for soda in America. In Croatia, those same bottles are $1.30 and $1.87 or so, respectively.
