La Paz is considered to be the legislative capital of Bolivia. Bolivia has two capitals. La Paz deals with the executive and legislative issues whereas Sucre deals with the constitutional or judicial issues of the government. Due to problems in the 1980s, La Paz’s economy struggled greatly which affected its citizens. Now, the economy is quite strong due to their manufacturing of food and tobacco among other products.

La Paz also has many soccer or football fans. Tourism has also become an important part of La Paz’s economy. There have been many notable people from La Paz including the poet Yolanda Bedregal and Victor Montoya, the writer. La Paz has a subtropical climate so there is warm summers and cold winters.
