Kampala is the capital city of Uganda. It is sectioned into five districts. Kampala is growing with people substantially. Kampala is known for first being established on seven hills called the Kampala, Namirembe, Nsambya, Mengo , Kasubi, Kibuli, and Lubaga Hill. However, throughout the years, the hills have grown. Some of these areas have modern buildings including the Grand Imperial Hotel.
Many people in this large city take motorbikes for transportation. These bikes are called boda-bodas. The city also has bussing. Kampala’s climate includes tropical weather. Both seasons are filled with precipitation for the most part. Kampala has about one and a half million people. The main sport in Kampala is basketball. Their team is called the City Oilers.
