Arizona is a southwestern state in the United States. The capital city of Arizona is Phoenix. The city has over one and half million people living here. Phoenix is relatively level, but it does have a few mountains in nearby areas. The city has been divided into little sections known as villages. Summers in Phoenix are very hot and the winters are relatively cool to warm.

Phoenix has a rather dry climate due to its location and being near a desert. Due to the mountains and desert terrain, Phoenix has different animals that you would not necessarily see in other places. These animals include coyotes and mountain lions. Cacti are also seen in Phoenix. Phoenix’s economy depends on agriculture like cattle and cotton.
