Climate is the weather associated with an area including the different types of weather found in that area. Many climates pertain to the location of the region. If a region is located closer to the equator, then the climate will be warmer, but the region’s climate may have different weather than another region that is located close to the equator.

One may have lots of rain whereas one may have dry weather. In northern regions and very southern regions in the world, they would have colder temperatures. In the Amazon River region, the climate is wet and hot due to its location and the fact that it has the rainforest. The increase in rain allows these plants to grow creating the Amazon Rainforest.
