Natural resources are resources that are unchanged and undisturbed by human beings such as the water, oil, forests, rocks, minerals and soils. It comes in many forms – it may be solid, liquid or gas, organic or inorganic and renewable or non-renewable natural resources. They take years to form and develop, and they use the environment to grow and cultivate. Without natural resources, we will not be able to survive and function properly.

Here are some of the things we can get from enumerated natural resources: we get fresh drinking water from water, fuel from oil, wood, rubber and cotton from forests, construction materials from rocks, glass, jewelry and ceramics from minerals and the ability for an abundant agriculture from soils.
