The correct answer to this question is False. The Sun will never become a black hole. The Sun would have to be much larger before it became a black hole. Instead, if its life ended, it would become a planetary nebula. Hypothetically speaking, if the Sun became a black hole, it would not affect us here on Earth.

Black holes do not set out to look for living beings. However, Earth would have been affected, as there would be no sunlight. We also would be living in cold, as without the Sun, there is no heat to be generated.
