Incident management is the process used by businesses to manage or handle the lifecycle of all incidents that occur in their day to day operations. Its purpose is to fix the problems that occur in order to resume the normal operations of the business. The primary objective of incident management is to restore the business services and normal operations of the company as quick as possible and limit or alleviate the undesirable effects of the incidences on the business.

Implementing an incident management system or process for your business ensures that any problems or events (unforeseen or expected) will be handled appropriately in a fast and methodical response, in order to limit any business operation disturbance that may affect the financial growth of the company.
