The fact that there is Codman’s triangle signifies that there is a tumor. Based on the other clues like the increasing shoe size and cap size, the tumor must be located at A. The metaphysis is the area that is located between the diaphysis and the epiphysis. This is where the growth plate is located. This is usually very active when children are still growing up.

Take note that the tumor that can be found in this area can be different depending on the person’s age. The person should undergo tests to be sure about the diagnosis. There are different symptoms to watch out for if the tumor is located in another location.
