120 Hz LED TVs are better than 60Hz LED TVs in films of fast-moving scenes, and this is an element that comes in handy when watching a football game or an action movie. 120 Hz LED displays an additional frame in between typical 60 Hz LED tv frames.

The video should have a framerate of at least 60 Hz for the 120 Hz LED to be advantageous; if the framerate is less than 60 Hz, the tv will respond by repeating frames, which is not ideal. LEDs are like older LED tv’s, as they still use LCD’s as the main feature. The only change is the use of LED.

LED TVs are the next big thing in technology, and leading television manufacturers like Sony and Samsung are bringing out new products. The 60 Hz was created for smaller tv’s. The 120 Hz also provides a better quality that the 60 Hz is lacking. The fast pace of action movies and sports games like football and baseball are far more enticing on the bigger screen. The 120 HZ LED tv is capable of showing an additional frame between typical LED frames.

Do not think that all of the LED television sets that you will see are the same. You need to know their refresh rates so that you can choose. A 60Hz television will be able to display 60 frames per second. This means that there are certain scenes that you may want to see that may not be clearly displayed if there would be more than 60 frames in a single second.

A 120Hz TV will be able to display higher frame rates, which can be ideal if you know that what you are going to watch or to play will require this feature. Purchasing a TV will definitely depend on your needs and what you would like to use it for.
