Very few of the areas where COVID-19 is being managed well and helping stop the spread, and one of those is gated communities. Despite the frightening number of growing cases in India, gated societies residents still feel safe because of the stringent measures being taken by the management.
Below are some measures and practices in our gated community, which I feel helping stop the spread.
First and foremost, check out who is going in out and allowing visitors if absolutely necessary.
Secondly, e-commerce and online food supply have become part of our lives, so receiving deliveries is something you cannot avoid however you can choose to leave at gate those deliveries using the app “leave at the gate” feature when you get notified of delivery and pick up later at the security and of course you sanitize the parcel/delivery before you use.
Thirdly, keep informed residents is something important in this COVID situation.
