Blackberry phones are an important part of the mobile phone history. They introduced the idea of emailing on a mobile device. Over the years, there have been many Blackberry products that have been introduced. Two of those include Blackberry Dakota and Blackberry 9780.

One of the differences between them is the type of operating system that each device has. The Blackberry Dakota had a 6.1 operating system. Blackberry 9780 has an operating system of 6. Another difference between them is the amount of storage that each has. Blackberry Dakota has an internal storage of 4GB. The Bold 9780 has a storage of 2GB.

Blackberry Dakota and Blackberry 9780 are products of blackberry phones. The Blackberry Dakota operating system is 6.1, while the operating system for Blackberry 9780 is 6.0. Dakota has a 4GB internal storage, while Bold 9780 has 2GB internal storage with a media card. Dakota Ram is 768MB while the Bold 9780 Ram is 523 MB. Dakota has a display of a 2.8’’ VGA capacitive touch screen while the Bold 9780 has a 2.4” TFT LCD screen, 16-bit color. Dakota has a weight and processor of TBU, while Bold 9780 has a weight of 4.3oz and processor of 624MHZ. Dakota has a mobile hotspot while Bold 9780 has no mobile hotspot. Dakota has a non-sliding full QWERTY keyboard, candy bar, while the Bold 9780 has a full QWERTY keyboard with an optical trackpad, candy bar.

There was a time when people would love to have Blackberry handsets, and there were several models to choose from. Take note that both phones have already been discontinued, but there are still some people who are searching for these models.

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 was released back in October of 2010 while the BlackBerry Dakota is newer since it was released back in May of 2011. They both make use of the same sim cards, which is the mini sim.

They also make use of the same OS, which is BlackBerry, but the BlackBerry Dakota has a newer OS at BlackBerry OS 7.0 while the BlackBerry Bold 9780 makes use of BlackBerry OS 6.0.
