The Blackberry Curve 8900 is one of the newer models, while 8520 is the latest entry-level phone that has been released. The 8900 is more expensive. The 8520 no longer utilizes the trackball, which has become standard in most blackberry phones. Instead, it uses an optical trackpad on the cheaper 8520 so that consumer’s reception of the addition before placing it on the more expensive phones.

The screen of the 8520 is more significant compared to 8900. However, 8520 has a much lower resolution of 8900—the higher resolution of 8900 results to clearer images being displayed for video playback. The camera of the 8900 is more impressive compared to the 8520. The battery life of the 8900 is longer compared to the 8520. The 8520 is a decent phone and are not familiar with the trackball.
