Hot flashes will cause a sudden sensation of heat. This is normally felt on the upper portion of the body. This is normally experienced by those who are menopausal which means that it will only be experienced by women. While this may come and go, women will normally experience this for up to seven years.

Fever, on the other hand, is going to be felt by everyone. Even kids may become afflicted with this when the body is fighting an infection. Those who have a fever will have a temperature that is beyond 38.3 Degrees. Anything higher than that will be considered really high and would need to be checked by the doctor.

There are a lot of people who would have a normal body temperature of 36.5 to 37.5. Those who have above this temperature may be battling a fever. The higher the body temperature, the higher the fever is. Some people may get confused if they have a fever or if they are experiencing hot flashes.

Only women will experience hot flashes. Normally, those who get it are those who are menopausal. The reason why people experience hot flashes is there is a sudden drop in their estrogen levels. This causes the body to produce other sexual hormones which may cause women to feel hot.

This can be very uncomfortable but the temperature will go back to normal after some time. When people have a fever, they need to know the underlying cause first before it can be properly treated.

Fever refers to an increase in the normal body temperature. The normal body temperature of a normal adult is said to be around 37 degree Celsius. Hence, when it is more than this, like 38.3 degrees Celsius and above, then such a person can be said to have a fever. In the case of hot flashes, it can be described as a phenomenon whereby someone is experiencing an increase in the body temperature and subjective sensation of heat. And it is usually experienced at a particular stage in life, accompanying some natural phenomenon, especially in the female gender. While fever is known to affect the entire part of the body over a period of time; hot flashes are known to be a period of intense heat, being experienced in the upper limbs, the upper half of the trunk, and face. Fever can affect anyone at any age, but hot flashes are usually experienced by females in their 50s and 60s.

A hot flash will occur when the blood will rush to the vessels that are nearest the skin. This means that the temperature may suddenly rise by up to seven degrees for a certain period of time. The difference between hot flashes with fever is the core body temperature will not go higher than 37 degrees. When someone has a fever, this signifies that the body may be fighting an infection. Take note that someone who has a fever may be defined as someone who has a temperature that is higher than 38.3 Degrees Celsius. Take note that people’s body temperature will always vary depending on what the person is doing. Someone who has a high fever may find it hard to function normally.

One thing that you should know is that a fever is caused by an infection that the body may be fighting. If you feel hot and the temperature will tell you that your temperature is unusually high, this can be a sign that something is wrong or your body is not in its best condition. Hot flashes are normally caused by menopause. This is characterized by a sudden onset of feeling hot. There are a lot of women who would need to be exposed to a place that is colder so that they can still feel comfortable. It can be very weird for women who are experiencing hot flashes for the first time as the feeling may be similar to having a fever but only temporarily.

Changes in the body can impact the temperature we feel. Some changes can make us feel cold, while other changes can make us feel warm or overheated. Two conditions that can occur to change a person's body temperature to abnormally warm are hot flashes and fevers.

A hot flash is something a woman occurs. They normally experience it during menopause and the feeling comes out of nowhere and makes the person feel hot. A fever is usually paired with a common cold and it is longer lasting than a hot flash. It will also make a person's body temperature increase to a high level, but does not go away as fast as a hot flash.

Take note that a fever will never be caused by hot flashes. A person who is fighting a fever is probably going through a whole range of other symptoms. There are some people who experience hot flashes because they are menopausal. Their body is unable to regulate their temperature properly. The hot flashes may last for a few minutes, but there are also instances when they can last for a few hours. It is important that a person who is experiencing this will be able to keep herself comfortable. It will make a huge difference in that way. Someone who is experiencing a fever will feel uncomfortable and may also feel weak. You need to get to know your symptoms properly so that you can be sure of what you will get.

There are a lot of people who sometimes feel like they are coming down with a fever, only to realize that they are just suffering from hot flashes. Usually, a person who experiences hot flashes may get it more when she is menopausal because the hormones of the body may not be working as well as they should, or there may not be enough of certain hormones to keep the temperature of the body constant. When a person has a fever, this means that the person’s body is trying to fight off a certain infection. There are instances when a person is not recommended to drink medications immediately because the body is still trying to fight off the infection. Fever may last for a few days but would need to be checked if it gets too high.

Hot flashes are a sudden but brief sensation of heat all over the body, which is usually considered as one of the common symptoms of menopause. At a particular age in women's life, an average woman will experience certain physiological changes that will put a stop to her monthly menstrual cycle. This condition is known as menopause, and it is usually confirmed when a woman stops menstruating for a complete 12 months. Hot flashes are part of the symptoms of this stage, and can also be experienced during the transition stage.

A fever, on the other hand, has so many causes, and it is a common symptom of so many health conditions. It is usually confirmed by a temperature higher than the normal body temperature. The normal body temperature is put at 37°C, though the human temperature can change, and it is never constant throughout the day. However, one can be said to have a fever if his temperature is equal to or greater than 38.3°C. Hot flashes are only experienced by women who have reached menopause, but fever can be experienced by anybody.
