Pneumonia is a lung infection that can occur unilaterally or bilaterally, and bacteria, viruses, and fungus cause it. This illness causes irritation in the air sacs contained within the lungs, or alveoli, and can cause cough, stained bloody mucus, and back pain. The sacs fill with fluid or pus, and if left untreated, this can become an emergent situation where surgical intervention may be necessary to drain the fluids from the lungs.

Typhoid is caused by bacteria known as Salmonella. This illness can be spread through contaminated foods, water, or close contact with someone who has the infection. The symptoms are fever, headache, tummy pain, and either constipation or diarrhea. People who develop this infection can become quite ill and die if not treated.

Pneumonia is a chronic infection that leads to the inflammation of the lung. This infection is caused by different microorganisms, such as viruses, bacteria, protozoa, fungi, etc. At times, pneumonia can be caused by chemical irritants. Also, patients with underlying lung infections are more likely to get pneumonia. Few symptoms of this infection include chest pain, painful dry cough, difficulty in breathing, fever, vomiting, etc. On the other hand, typhoid is solely a bacterial infection usually caused by salmonella Typhi.

This disease is usually contra personated when people ingest food or water that has been contaminated with the feces or urine of an infected. The various symptoms of typhoid are fever, and other associated symptoms such as vomiting, headache, abdominal pain, malaise, loss of appetite. There are some asymptomatic carriers that won't show these symptoms for some time. However, these people can still infect others since they have bacteria in them.
