Some people may become a bit confused when they hear the term ferritin because they are not sure exactly what this does. Ferritin is a type of protein that you can find in the body that will have the ability to store iron.

The iron will be released by this protein when the body senses that it needs it. Iron is needed by the body. This is a type of mineral with a goal to carry the oxygen throughout the body. When people have enough of this mineral, they would notice that they will have more energy to do a lot of things.

Those who do not have enough of it may sometimes feel faint especially when they try to stand up immediately.
