Creatine and creatinine are two protein-derived compounds found in the body. Creatine is manufactured within the liver, kidney, and pancreas. It is then transported into the skeletal muscles through the blood. Creatinine has investigative uses in determining muscle mass and kidney function.

The chief difference between creatine and creatinine is that creatine is a naturally occurring amino acid in vertebrates which aids in supplying energy to muscles and nerve cells, while creatine is a biological waste molded by the metabolism of creatine and excreted from the body through urine.

Creatine and creatinine are both proteins present in the homeostasis (in the blood) in human body. They are both obtained from protein, and this is the reason why people who feed on meat have them more in the body than just the vegetarians. Creatine is a protein substance which is present naturally in vertebrates. It is an amino acid stored basically in the brain and the muscles of the body. Creatine can be synthetically created though, but it is mostly present in meats and seafood. Creatine works in the body when consumed orally to treat heart diseases, brain disorders, and other neurological problems.

Creatine and creatinine are both proteins present in the homeostasis (in the blood) in human body.
On the other hand, creatinine is formed as a chemical waste product when creatine has been broken down in the muscle cells. The muscle mass of an individual determines the level of creatine phosphate production in the body, and it can be excreted through the kidney. The chemical formula for creatinine is C4H7N30, while that of creatine is C4H9N3O2.

Creatine and Creatinine are proteins found in the body's blood. They are both in homeostasis. Creatine is an amino acid. It is produced in the human body naturally, by the pancreas, kidney, and liver. Creatinine is a biological waste product. The muscles in the body create it by the creatines breakdown. Creatine's molecular formula is C4H9N3O2 and its' scientific name is 2-(carboximidoyl-methyl-amino) acetic acid.

Creatinine's molecular formula is C4H7N30 and its scientific name is 2-amino-1-methyl-5h-imidazole-4-one. Creatine is important to the body because it helps energy be generated through the muscle tissue and it helps fight diseases such as Parkinson's. Creatinine is equally important because it can help a doctor identify how well the patient's kidneys are working.
