Wires are mainly located inside a cable; wires are grouped based on the gauge number. The wire we used at home is 10 -20 gauges.

The wire is known to be a single conductor. The cable is known to be a group of conductors. The conductor of the wire is known to be made out of a type of material that will allow the signals or the electricity to be transmitted. Two of the most common conductor materials are aluminum and copper.
For wires, there is only a single wire that is available so they are meant to run in a parallel line. It can be a bit different for cables. There are some cables that are just parallel while there are also some twisted. It will depend on what the purpose of this cable is.
