You may not be too familiar with nanoweb and poly web if you are not enthusiastic about playing the guitar. If you know that you want to make some changes to the current strings of your guitar, you can choose between these two varieties.

They have some differences when it comes to their tone. The poly web will have a warm tone, while the nanoweb will have a bright tone. The feel of these two types of strings is also different. The poly web will feel slick and fast when it is played while the nanoweb will feel smooth when it is played.

Nanoweb and polyweb are guitar strings and they are produced by the same company known as Elixir strings. The fact is, the quality of sound a guitar will produce is definitely on the type of strings its using. Strings are very important in guitar, even without it, nothing can be played on guitar. Nanoweb and polyweb are quality guitar strings, but there are differences between them. It should be noted that, both strings are unique in their own way. The first difference is that, nanoweb strings are very thinner than polyweb strings.

And this consequently leads to the unique tone they give. Since polyweb strings are relatively big compared to nanoweb, they have a higher weight than Nanoweb strings. The coating of Nanoweb strings is thinner and as a result, nanoweb has a kind of refined tone, whereas the coating of polyweb strings is thicker and as a result, they tend not to sound very brighter like nanoweb strings.
