Presently, the United States is the world's only superpower. A superpower is a country that has enough power in terms of its military force, persuasion, and economy to persuade other nations in the world. Though the United States is alone in this field, it is seen that China is emerging to join the USA in the superpower spectrum. They are close to this because Beijing is considered a Great Power.

There are constant debates on whether the United States will be able to keep that role as the superpower and only time, and the decisions of the country's leaders will tell if they can hold onto the reign.
