You should realize that Assyria and Babylonia are two of the neighboring states of Mesopotamia. These two are usually compared to each other because of this. Assyria is known to have a better climate as compared to Babylonia because of its location. There are also some differences in terms of the type of lifestyle that they have lived. The Assyrians made it a point to form military dynasties, probably because they believed that this would work.

The Babylonians focused more on becoming merchants, and some of them also became agriculturists. Their main leaders are also called in different ways. The main leader in Assyria is called Autocratic King, while the main leader in Babylonia is called Priesthood.
