Feminists and Equalists are most times considered to be the same simply because of the fact that both advocate for equal rights among individuals. However, their perspective of the word equality is not the same even as they advocate and fight for a society that is characterized by equal rights for all people.

Feminists are most concerned about achieving a society where men are not regarded as superior to women so that both genders will have the same rights to everything. Feminists are usually of the opinion that women are not allowed to enjoy certain rights like their male counterparts, and thereby making them look like slaves to men.

On the other hand, equalists do not base their fight just on sex or gender, but also on every issue that makes some look inferior to others. They want a society where everybody will have access to the same opportunities, regardless of their gender, race, color, etc. Another difference is that feminists are most times accused of being fighting for a cause that will make women superior to men, whereas there is nothing like this in Equalism.
