Out of all the states in the United States, the state of New York has been the hot spot for COVID-19. One of the reasons for this is because it is the most populated city in the country. Those that live and travel to New York expect to be in close quarters.

For example, public transportation is a popular method to get around in the state. Those that ride trains and subways are often standing and sitting close together. It is almost impossible to social distance in this state, which is why it is easy to transfer the virus from person to person.

One of the reasons why New York was hit really hard by the Coronavirus is mainly because of the type of lifestyle that people have in New York. A lot of people in New York do not practice social distancing in a normal day. They usually bump into so many people because it is a populated city.

A lot of people use public transportation in order to get from one place to another. A lot of people who probably did not know that the virus is already spreading. This virus is highly contagious, though, so it made a lot of people become infected in a short amount of time.

New York has to be one of the cities that have gotten the most affected by COVID 19 and people cannot help but wonder why this has occurred. It should be remembered that this has to be one of the most populated cities in the United States although this is not one of the most populated cities all over the world.

In the beginning, people probably did not take the disease seriously and they went on with their usual routine. The time came when people were already affected by the virus although they did not know. The virus kept spreading as more and more people have become affected. Then, the death rates started to rise and proper healthcare is not being given.

New York state is the spot for COVID-19 patients. New York is by far the most populated city in our nation. People in this city are usually packed together as if they were sardines in a can. People practically bump into each other on its typically crowded sidewalks, and they will often live in small apartments with a ton of other people in the same building.

This situation makes New York a breeding ground for germs and illnesses. New York easily contains more than eight million people, which doesn’t allow each person much individual space. This condition is why New York testing for COVID-19 is abundant.
