Migrant and migration is a wide term that used to an individual who is mainly leaving home and moves from one place to another, most commonly in search of employment.

In the US people will get a non-immigrant visa (NIV), for more than 20 reasons. includes;

  1. Tourism
  2. For health-related needs(medical treatment)
  3. Travel for business
  4. Temporary employment
  5. Education

At the same time, an immigrant is a person who willingly leaves their country of origin and legally enters another country where they are granted permission to permanently resettle.

in simple words, Migrant means temporary movement, and Immigrant means permanent residency.
