Anthony Constantinou says, “If you think you have coronavirus symptoms then its good to contact your doctor quickly. Call medical toll free number, collect information and then go to doctor with crucial precautions. To diagnose you, the doctors may do tests to checkout other common infections and may recommend you self-isolation to prevent the spread of infection.”

The best way to confirm your status for this Virus is to make sure you get tested. Immediately you see a series of symptoms showing a possibility of the coronavirus infection, go see a doctor and run a test to ascertain whether you are infected or not.

The symptoms you should look out for are fever when your body temperature is high, dry cough, shortness of breath, aches and pains, sore throat, and runny nose.

However, if your result turns out positive, you will be asked to self-isolate in order to protect yourself and loved ones for some time while you get medical care to aid fast recovery.

Although the vaccine has not been found for the cure of coronavirus completely, and no medication has been confirmed by WHO for the cure of the virus, scientists across the globe are working really hard to find a lasting solution to this pandemic.

A lot of people are paranoid about coronavirus right now. Some may feel paranoid, and they may feel that they have the symptoms of the disease, but the truth is that they do not have the actual symptoms. The only way that you will know if you are positive is if you get yourself tested. There are some testing kits that are available, but not everyone will have access to these testing kits. In fact, a lot of people who have this condition may not even know that they have it. This can make the spread of the disease, even deadlier. Those who are asymptomatic are requested to stay in quarantine for 14 days so that the virus will not spread outside. Those who are having some difficulty would need to be at the hospital to be treated.

Coronavirus is diagnosed through a test. Being that there is a shortage of tests, a person must have a persistent fever or have came in direct contact with someone who has tested positive. One type of test is a Molecular test. This test involves a swab going to the back of the throat.

The swab is then sent off. It can only test if a person currently has it and not if a person had it in the past and then recovered. Another type of test is a Serological tests, which involves taking a sample of blood and then testing it for antibodies.

If you have been showing a series of symptoms that suggest any possibility of coronavirus infection, the best thing you can do is to visit your doctor. As soon as you submit yourself to your doctor, a series of tests will be conducted in order to ascertain whether you have contracted the new coronavirus or not.

If you test positive, you might be advised to isolate yourself for a period of days for you to get the necessary medical attention that will ensure that you recover very fast. Also, you might still be advised to isolate yourself even if you test negative; this is due to the fact that it takes about fourteen days before you start showing symptoms, while in some people, the symptoms may start showing very early. Although scientists are working towards getting a particular vaccine that can be used to cure coronavirus completely, however, they are yet to find one.
