Some new models of Nikon cameras have been released, which have caused appeal and somewhat chaos, in the market for DSLR. The two models are the Nikon D7100 and the Nikon D610 models. Both of them have some unique attributes which can be distinguished using photographic terms. The Nikon D610 has lesser focus points than the D7100. The form factor of D7100 is smaller than that of D610. D7100 has a higher shutter speed. The D610 is heavier in weight.

The D7100 is sensitive to Wi-Fi, while D610 is not. The D7100 doesn't allow 24p video capturing mode, while the D610 actually allows the capturing. The D610 has an inbuilt HDR mode with a focus motor while the D7100 doesn't have. D610 has a higher screen resolution. The sensory of D610 is larger than that of the D7100. D610 has an overall video quality that is better than that of D7100.
