A body spray is known to be a type of body mist. This is made out of water, alcohol, and a little bit of fragrance. This is the reason why a lot of people usually spray this all over their bodies because they know that the smell will not be too overpowering anyway. When you say perfume, this is composed of more oil. There is a higher concentration of fragrance oils that are available but it will be mixed with more water and alcohol so that it will not be too overpowering. You may just dab a little bit of perfume on some of the spots of your body like behind your ear and your wrists so that the smell will last for a long time.

Perfume and body spray can easily be confused to be the same since both are known for their pleasant odors. However, perfume and body spray are two products serving different purposes. In terms of their compositions, perfumes are produced by combining different kinds of oils and aromatic extracts.

The pleasant odors to be produced depend greatly on the nature of the aromatic extracts and oils being used. Although a body spray also contains certain extracts, alcohol, and water are also parts of its constituents. The implication of this is that body sprays contain less aromatic extracts compared to perfumes.

Bodysprays are used exactly like deodorants and can be applied directly on the skin, while perfumes are applied mostly on the cloth. Out of the two, the odor of the perfumes stays longer than that of body sprays. In terms of price, perfumes are comparably more expensive than body sprays.

One thing that you should realize is that body sprays, and perfumes have a few differences. You might notice that a perfume will usually last for a longer period of time. It is usually composed of different oils and other aromatic compounds. This means that it will have the tendency to smell stronger as compared to a body spray.

A body spray will contain other ingredients that will dilute the different oils and the other scents that will be used a bit. Remember that a body spray will have the tendency to last for about 4 to 6 hours while the perfume may sometimes have the ability to last for the whole day. It will depend on the type of perfume that you will use.
