There are some people who may assume that plum and prune are the same, mainly because of their appearance. Plum is known to be a part of the plant genus Prunus. While prune is a type of plum. There are a lot of people who like plums because of its distinct taste. This fruit is sweet and tart at the same time. The moment that you die plums, that is the time when they can be called prunes.
There are also some prunes that come from a separate fruit, but the main difference between the two is how easy it would be to remove in the center. Some prunes have a distinct appearance that will make them easy to distinguish from plums that are usually deep violet in color.
