The correct answer to this question is Yes. Out of all the festivals to celebrate, Diwali is the most popular and is the one that is most celebrated by the Hindus. Diwali is also known as the Festival of Lights. It is used as a way to celebrate Rama Chandra. He was gone for 14 years fighting demons.

After conquering them, he was celebrated to show light over darkness and good over evil. During this five day festival, people exchange gifts and show love to one another. Other Hindu festivals that are popular and celebrated include Onam and Maha. Another popular festival is Holi, which is known as the festival of love and color.

Diwali is considered to be one of the biggest festivals that are being celebrated by Hindus from different parts of the world. This coincides with the Hindu New Year which makes it a big celebration. People usually celebrate this to be positive about the new beginnings that are coming their way. They believe that even though there are negative things that may occur, goodness will always triumph in the end.

One of the things that people do in order to celebrate Diwali is to light up different candles. Some say that this is a religious holiday probably because it is being celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains. In India, this is a national holiday. It can be considered as one of the biggest if not the biggest festival in India together with Durga Puja.
