Ganesh Chaturthi is known to be one of the most important religious and folk events in India. This is celebrated in order to remember the birthday of God Ganesha. Ganesha is the god that has an elephant head and the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.

The celebration is done in his honor. A lot of people believe that the day he was born made it possible for new beginnings to start. At this day and age, there are still some people who do not want to embrace change because they do not know how to begin. The celebration of certain events is meant to inspire people to embark on new challenges that may improve the way that they live.
