Ntfs quick, as the name implies, is faster in performance than just the Ntfs. However, Ntfs seems to do better work than the Ntfs quick, as the Ntfs operate by just deleting files and not check the disks as it feels it is not needed. That is the way it is designed to function, though. However, Ntfs does a routine work by checking the disks and also deleting all the files.

These are done while trying to format an operating system. Due to the way they function, they are thereby advised to be used for a particular function that best fits them. It is advised, and as usually done, to use the Ntfs for a fresh or new drive. Nevertheless, you can use Ntfs quick for a drive that has just been recently formatted. There is no big difference between Ntfs and Ntfs Quick. Both are two options you should consider when trying to delete or format all the files on your devices. Both perform almost the same function by helping in formatting the drive for a new software to come in. However, here is the notable difference between Ntfs and Ntfs Quick. If you don't know anything about Ntfs and Ntfs Quick, the fact that, you can see ''Quick'' making a part of the second word means Ntfs Quick will do the formatting work faster than Ntfs.

We can simply say, the total time taken for Ntfs Quick to get the job done and also for Ntfs to get the work done, is the main difference between the two. Ntfs is highly advised for drives that have never been formatted before, because it will take the necessary time just to be sure that all files are deleted and that areas of error are avoided. But the operation of Ntfs Quick is faster than that, because it does not care about those things.
