The many important works of archaeologists can not be underestimated. There had been so many revelation about past events and about things that existed before. If not for their tireless efforts, all these might not have seen the light of the day. However, most archaeologists are being faced with so many problems, most of these problems are encountered on their working fields.

The following are the problems encountered by archaeologists; - they have few personel, hence making their works a bit tedious -Dating of fossil is not something easy as it requires devoting a lot of time -Archaeologists sometimes go to places with little or no infrastructures to carryout their researches - They also have problems with the climatic condition of the place the research is taking place , plus most of their operations is too expensive and it requires a lot of funding so as to arrive at a good result
