The climatic condition of a place is something we should try to make research about. New Zealand people count their climate very important to them because it tells a lot on their existence, which is why they were staging protest in some places in the country when they heard about climate change.

New Zealand has a very huge temperate climate. During summer, the far north experience subtropical weather as against what is experienced at south island which experience coldness. Due to the location of New Zealand in the south hemisphere, they tend experience temperature decline as they travel south. The average temperature of the far north is 15°C and that of the south is 9°C which is very cooler.

On average, most places in New Zealand receive about nothing less than 2000 hours of sunshine in a year. While places like Hawke's Bay, Nelson and Bay of Plenty are the sunniest places with about 2300 hours of sunshine in a year
