How did Hilary Clinton react to Monica Lewinsky scandal?

Hilary Clinton reacted angrily to the Monica Lewinsky scandal. There were two main reasons why Hilary Clinton would get upset with this situation. The most obvious reason is that her husband cheated on her with a very young intern from the White House. However, her anger seemed to turn to the media and Republicans about this issue because she characterized it as being a vast right wing conspiracy. She was more upset about it hurting his career.

Already, there were four other women who had accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct prior to this incident. Then when the affair happened, there was a possibility that his presidency would end due to an impeachment of the president. However, that definitely did not happen.
