Hilary Clinton ran for election for the presidency of the United States in 2016. That is widely known by many people. It was probably the most popular presidential election ever due to the two candidates who were running against each other. However, it may be lesser known that Hilary Clinton ran for the U.S. presidential election in 2008. However, she lost that election too.

She didn’t win her party’s candidacy because Barack Obama won for the Democratic party. Mainly, Clinton lost because she did not have as much experience as Barack Obama. She became a senator after her husband retired. Also, it seemed that Obama was a stronger candidate and he probably stood a greater chance of winning the presidential election which he did.
