Was Ronald Reagen a good actor?

In the 1980s, Ronald Reagan was the president of the United States. By the time someone becomes president, they have gradually gained popularity and notoriety through their political career with the average citizen. However, Ronald Reagan was different. This is because he was a famous actor prior to his political career.

By the time he started his political career and presidency, he was already famous for the movies he was in. He was in several movies including The Voice of the Turtle, The Hasty Heart and Hellcats of the Navy, to name a few. Usually, you can determine how great an actor is by the number of movies they are in. If they were a bad actor, they probably would not get another acting gig. That is not the case for Ronald Reagan.
