Are all seasons of American Idol good and entertaining?

Most seasons of American Idol are probably good and entertaining. However, over time most of these shows that are reality based and are some form of a competition get old. They start off being great like the first season because they are new, but every season gets worse and worse. Therefore, probably the best season of American Idol is the first season.

During the first season, Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman hosted the show. Over ten thousand people tried out for this new show and only a little over a hundred were selected to actually be on the show. Then they started to make cuts. Only thirty of them went on. Kelly Clarkson won the first season of American Idol and continues to produce music.
