Jellyfish, for the most part, live in the ocean, but they are not actually fish, they are plankton. They are primarily free-swimming marine animals with umbrella-shaped bells and trailing tentacles. Most jellyfish are marine animals, and they are technically considered to be in the Kingdom of Animalia, and the phylum Cnidaria.

Jellies either float in the water or possess such limited swimming powers that the current controls their horizontal movements. The jellyfish is considered to be a type of fish, and they are found in every ocean. Jellyfish are a type of sea animal called Cnidarians. It is plankton which means it goes with the current.
