Like many theorems, especially old theorems and theories from ancient times, people over time have found flaws in them. The Pythagoreas theorem is the same. It seems that there is a major flaw in this. It is hard to believe because this theorem is probably the most popular in math. Therefore, there are times when this theorem is false and not true.

It is true when not considering infinity. However, infinity can never be reached and so when the theorem is used to reach infinity, it could not happen. Other ways for the theorem to be false would be if a student did not perform the math correctly. Then it would be false. Otherwise, this theorem is always true for a right-angled triangle.
