Jeff Bezos is usually under fire because people feel that he is not giving to charity the way that he should. If he would be compared to other CEOs of other companies, his projects have been announced but there is no actual proof yet that would show if it actually happened.

He says that he has a vision of the things that he wants but people are still unclear and a bit confused with what his true vision is. Some say that his donation of $2 Billion is not too big especially for the number of riches that he has. For others, it does not matter how much he donates as long as he is doing it because he wants to and not because he needs to.

Many high-status and richest business men in the world often contribute to charity. There are two reasons why these people contribute to charity. First, they want to write off this money for their taxes. Also, they want to give back to the community. Overall, Amazon has received criticism for not donating enough money to charities based on the amount of money they are worth.

However, there have been major contributions by the Bezos family. These include two and a half million dollars in support of a marriage issue. Plus, they donated millions to research and another set of millions to a museum. Bezos and his wife also support political candidates. Finally, they have created a foundation which supports education. Sometimes, it may be difficult to judge whether a celebrity is contributing enough.

Jeff Bezos was declared as the richest man ever on 2018 with a net worth of about $150 billion. What sets him aside is that he is not involved in philanthropy as the other billionaires of this age. Most of the billionaires of this age like Elon Musk the CEO of Tesla and Reed Hastings the CEO of Netflix have pledges to give the majority of their fortune for charity.

Jeff Bezos was declared as the richest man ever on 2018 with a net worth of about 0 billion.

Jeff has pledged to give $2 billion to address and help organizations that focus on homelessness and education. This is a good contribution as this can help quite a large number of people. But he does not seem to put in the effort to make it happen like what he did for Amazon, Bezos’s vision statement is “no child sleeps outside,” this is a great vision but it is unclear as how to use Bezos’s fund to make this happen. Even though Jeff has given $2 billion, people are not convinced that he did it on his own will and that he did it because it was expected of him.
